Shrimp Boil



16 large shrimp
1 onion (chopped)
2-3 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 cup bell peppers
2 cups turkey sausage (or beef but turkey is more figure friendly)
12 small potatoes (any kind..I like using sweet potatoes)
6 plum tomatoes
8 bunches of Kale (or spinach) stems removed
corn or peas as much or as little to your liking
2 tsp. old bay
black pepper to taste
Mushrooms
2 Quarts water
2 tablespoons grapeseed oil.


1. Place large pot on stove and heat to medium high heat add grape seed oil.
2. Add Shrimp and cool on each side for 1 to 2 min, depending on size
3. Remove shrimp and add onion, garlic, peppers, mushrooms Lower heat and saute for 3-5 min. Add sausage and cook for 3-5 min
4. add water, Potatoes and tomatoes and bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer 10-15 min until potatoes are tender
5. Add Kale and Corn
6. Season and serve
